These events provide you with quality-assured professional education which is suitable for your statutory CPD programme and keeps you up to date. Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, most of our CPD events have been provided as live webinars that are free to members. Visit our online eventspagefor up to date listings and booking details.ROYAL COLLEGE OF CHIROPRACTORS The Royal College of Chiropractors’ postgraduate training programme (known as the ‘PRT’) provides the framework for a period of post-graduate training and professional development which takes place immediately after graduation. PRT enables newly qualified chiropractors to work in professional clinical settings in regular contact with more experienced colleagues and supports the transition to independent practice. PRT participants initially take up Provisional Membership status with the Royal College. The PRT programme includes usual Royal College membership benefits plus workshops, online learning and all support materials. Suitable documentation of your PRT programme meets the GCC’s CPD requirements for the year. Successful completion of the PRT programme confers Royal College Licentiate status and the post-nominal letters ‘LRCC’ and ‘DC’. Experienced College Licentiates, Members and Fellows have an opportunity to take up the role of PRT Trainer and thus attract new graduates for associateship posts. Before you graduate, you are eligible for Student Membership with free CPD, discounts and mailings. A smooth transition from the undergraduate setting to autonomous professional practice in the clinical setting.MEMBERSHIP BROCHURE 9 Members with an interest in a particular clinical field can become an associate of a Specialist Faculty, in Sport for example, to further that interest. Those who acquire and demonstrate the required competencies can take up specific Licentiateship/ Membership and Fellowship of these Faculties providing special skills and competencies. In the longer term, the RCC aims to foster the establishment of a Specialist Register.
